He will launch his entrepreneurial venture soon. It will be in the digital space, but won't be an advertising product.
Mohit Hira, CEO, Hungama Digital Services and digital head, JWT India, has quit. Today is his last day working day. He is working on launching an entrepreneurial venture, in the digital space. And it won't be an advertising product.
JWT acquired a majority stake in HDS in May 2012, motivated by the need to offer to its clients a full service digital agency specialising in digital marketing and social media solutions. As part of the acquisition, Hungama's activations arm, Hungama Promo Marketing, was merged with HDS, in a move to provide an engagement platform linked to online and offline deliveries.
Hira has 26 years of experience across advertising, marketing, print and digital media. Before JWT, he worked with NIIT, where he was the founder and president of Training.com, a B2C global online learning business platform. He was also chief marketing officer of the company's retail level, individual training businesses and the NIIT University.
