Goafest 2015 to be held on April 9-11

Nakul Chopra will chair the fest while Pratap Bose will chair the Awards Governing Council.

The dates for Goafest 2015 has been announced by the Goafest Committee. In its 10th edition, the definitive awards for India's creative industry, will be held on April 9, 10 and 11, 2015.

The venue for the event once again will be Grand Hyatt, Bambolim and the Abbys will be given out on all three days.

The Committee has also announced that Nakul Chopra, CE0, Publicis South Asia and vice president of The Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) will be the Chairman of Goafest 2015 and Pratap Bose, president of The Advertising Club will be the Chairman of the Awards Governing Council.

Goafest, which was held in late May this year, was designed around the theme 'Brand, Baaja, Baaraat' for its 9th edition. More importantly, two new categories were introduced in the Abbys - that of Promo Activation and PR. Moreover, in the Brand Content category (introduced in 2013) it had added the broadcast and the publishing industry for the first time.

JWT clearly ruled the creative Abbys this year, with 40 metals - including one Grand Prix and 5 golds. Taproot chased close behind with 29 wins while Digital Law & Kenneth and Alok Nanda & Company bagged a Grand Prix each.
