Aaj Tak###SQ###s TV campaign bags two Abby Awards
 

Aaj Tak's television campaign, part of the Common Man series, has bagged two Silvers at the recently concluded Abby awards. Aaj Tak won the Abbys for the media campaign and single film category.

The media campaign comprises three communication pieces, namely, Smoking, Romeo and Traffic. "Featuring film and TV actor Achyut Potdar, these campaigns are the voice of sensibility that dare to fight vices such as eve teasing, bribery, and smoking," mentions a company press statement. In fact, the 'Romeo' TVC from the Common Man had won Gold at the Promax and BDA Asia Awards 2003 for best public service announcement.

Aaj Tak's anti-smoking TVC, Smoking, won a Silver in the single film category. The campaign has been conceptualised and produced by Subrat Ray and Gajaraj Rao of Code Red. This is the second year running that Aaj Tak has bagged awards at the Abbys. Last year, Aaj Tak had won a Silver for best media campaign.
