After an exhaustive search for contestants that spanned over 25,000 entrants, 22 cities and 6 continents, the wait is almost over!!! Four amazing talents have finally been shortlisted to compete for the biggest gig in rock and roll – a chance to front the new band Supernova along with three rock legends - Motley Crue’s Tommy Lee, Guns ‘n’ Roses’ Gilby Clarke, and Metallica’s Jason Newsted. Find out who the most deserving one is going to be, in the LIVE and EXCLUSIVE telecast of the Grand Finale of Rockstar: Supernova, which will air this Thursday, September 14th at 8 p.m. only on Star World.

The second season of the highly successful, most rocking reality show is about to reach its conclusion with only the final four left- Lukas, Magni, Dilana and Toby. These four rockers have been through a whirlwind of anxiety, competition and finally, friendship. Millions will be tuning in this Thursday, to find out which among the remaining four rockers will win the chance to join Supernova as the lead singer and experience life in the fast lane in front of thousands of fans on stage.

Last year, we saw electrifying performances – an unprecedented quality of competition on any talent show, amazing new songs written by the contestants, and an amazing range of rock music – all of which propelled Canadian J.D. Fortune to success with INXS. This year, Rock Star: Supernova has gone bigger and better with its sound, its stars, and its music catalogue covering more than 5 decades of rock music! Supernova will record an album after the show's run with the first single released in September 2006. Supernova's first concert performance will take place on New Year's Eve at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. A world tour will follow in early 2007.
