Patrika Group’s CATCH News is creating more buzz in the market as more talent empowers its team further. The new multi-media digital platform combines the solidity of traditional journalism with the creativity, innovation and responsiveness of the vibrant world of Internet. Poised to cater to the young minds as well as avid news readers the website promises to deliver value with style.

Payal Puri will be responsible for curating the site's eclectic vibrant mix of stories from observations of life to lifestyle. She has a career span ranging over 19years in media, Payal Puri has worked on magazines, events, websites and briefly in television. She has been editor of Cosmopolitan magazine in India for 5 years and executive editor of India Today's travel title, Travel Plus, among others. Prior to joining Catch as ‘editor-at-large’, she was executive director of THiNK, a cutting-edge ideas festival held annually in Goa. She has also been editorial director of PopXo (formerly eStylista), a women's lifestyle site launched in 2013 as well as a freelance contributor to magazines including Harper's Bazaar, Good Housekeeping and Women's Health.

At Catch, Payal is part of the founding team and will be responsible for the lifestyle and features ends of the site. She is also involved with social media planning, is a passionate advocate of all things digital and has a love for science, food, fashion, and the good life that she hopes the site will come to reflect.

Kunal Majumder, 30, is Editor of Operations and Speed News desk at Catch. As an avid journalist, Kunal previously worked with Tehelka, Zee Media Corp and Images Multimedia. Winner of Statesman Award for Rural Reporting in 2010 and UNFPA-Laadli Award for gender sensitivity in 2011, Kunal forayed into the online space in 2012 as Assistant Editor incharge for web at Tehelka. In 2014, he joined ZMCL as Associate Editor incharge of political content on dnaindia.com and india.com before going on to head the online editorial team at DNA. Kunal is the youngest among the founder-editors of Catch and is known for his fanatical obsession with story page views.
