&pictures, India’s premium mass Hindi movie channel will bring the star studded award ceremony Arab Indo Bollywood Awards – AIBA on Sunday, 02 August at 8:30 PM onwards (exclusive red carpet at 8.30 PM and Award show at 9 PM).

Lakme Absolute Sculpt AIBA co-powered by Mahindra Centuro and Ditto TV is the first of its kind initiative to promote Indian Cinema in the Arab World, thus reaching out to millions of its fans outside India. Held in Dubai, the illustrious award ceremony acknowledged and celebrated the best from various fields of Hindi Cinema.

The glittering event hosted by Karan Johar and Manish Paul saw the one of the largest presence of more than 150 Bollywood stars in Dubai including Superstar Salman Khan. Dressed in a suave three-piece black suit and adorning the stubble look, Salman stole the show with his grand entry at the starry night.The actor enchanted everyone with his splendid dance performance to the tunes of ‘Jumme Ki Raat’ from ‘Kick’ and ‘Mashallah’ from his super hit film ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. Among the many highlight moments includes the one when the host asks Salman about whom he considers as his best on-screen actress.Salman first states that its Katrina Kaif but then coyly mentions Jacqueline Fernandez and adds saying, “Ranbir Kapoor pairs best with Katrina!”.

The show opened with Jacqueline Fernandez dressed as Princess Jasmine from Aladdin performing on her hit numbers from recent times, her act included chartbusters like Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan and Suraj Dooba hai. Another crowd favorite Priyanka Chopra stole the show with her daredevil entry on a hot air balloon. Priyanka sizzled on the stage in her golden attire personifying the coveted AIBA trophy. Dubai went into frenzy when Meet Brothers along with Kanika Kapoor set the stage on fire with their collaborative performances.

The unforgettable evening was further brightened by the presence of Bollywood heartthrob Varun Dhawan, who rocked the night with his captivating dance routine on foot taping numbers likeTera Hero Idhar Hai, Saturday Saturday and Jee Karda.

Hosting genius Manish Paul put the cast of Dil Dhadakne Do on an interesting task. On the lines of live Dubsmash act, the effervescent Ranveer Singh was asked to lip sync Prithviraj Kapoor’s dialogues from legendary Mughal-e- Azam. It was also exciting to see Anil Kapoor along with Anushka Sharma and Shefali Shah match Ranveer’s act. Manish also caught Parineeti off-guard by testing her knowledge with a quiz on Bollywood actresses.

Also spotted at the Golden Carpet were Arbaaz Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Remo D’Souza, Kriti Sanon, producer Ritesh Sidhwani and many more.
