Kaushik Ghosh joins Asianet News Network as CEO

Kaushik Ghosh has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Asianet News Network Pvt Ltd (ANNPL) and will head business operations of the news brands Asianet News the number one Malayalam news channel, Kannada Prabha, a respected Kannada daily and Suvarna News 24X7, a leading Kannada news channel and will lead the future news ventures / forays of the Group. Prior to joining ANNPL, Kaushik was the Vice President and SBU head for Bengali Magazines at

ABP in Kolkata.

Kaushik brings to ANNPL wealth of experience and strong leadership of more than 20 years including working with leading organizations like ENIL (Radio Mirchi), Star India, Times TV Network (Times Now & ET Now), ABP, Asian Paints and HCL Frontline limited. He has been in the media industry for the last 15 years in sales, marketing, business operations and regulatory affairs across radio, television and print. He is a B.Tech graduate from IIT, Kharagpur with a PGDM (Marketing & Finance) from IIM, Calcutta.

Kaushik will report to K Madhavan, Vice Chairman, Asianet News Network. Kaushik commented on his appointment: “I am glad that I have joined Asianet News Network in this role.
