IDBI Federal Life Insurance’s ‘Badon ki Pathshala’ hooks parents to the Radio

IDBI Federal Life Insurance, one of India’s growing life insurance companies and 92.7 BIG FM,India’s Largest and the No.1 Radio Network, launched an innovative concept ‘Badon ki Pathshala’, building on the tremendous success of IDBI Federal Childsurance Radio Film Festival.

IDBI Federal Life Insurance understands that being a parent is tough ask. For a young parent, it is like a constant solution finding mode moving from one challenge to the other. Keeping this in mind, IDBI Federal launched ‘Badon Ki Pathshala’ to help young parents tackle issues related to their children. In the segment which literally means ‘classroom for parents’, tips about good parenting were shared.

Speaking on the campaign, a spokesperson from 92.7 BIG FM said, “Our association with IDBI Federal Life Insurance has opened newer avenues in innovative programming strategies and ‘Badon ki Pathshala’ has been appreciated by young and soon to-be parents. We are delighted to have been a part of their journey and help them realize the importance of financial planning for their young ones.”

Speaking on the success of ‘Badon ki Pathshala’, a spokesperson from IDBI Federal Life Insurance said, “Our main objective through the Child campaign has been to educate young parents about the importance of financial planning for their children's future. With channel’s extensive reach and programming innovation, ‘Badon ki Pathshala’ turned out to be a complete hit amongst young and soon to-be parents. It was successful in driving home the significance of a systematic financial plan for the bright future of kids.”

The key highlight of ‘Badon ki Pathshala’ were the 3 member expert panel that discussed topics varying from separation and stranger anxiety, eating disorders, argumentative behavior to name a few and shared their opinions on the topic on-air, before taking related queries of young or soon to-be parents who called from across 11 Indian cities viz. Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Trivandrum, Hyderabad, Kanpur, Chandigarh, Indore and Jamshedpur.

They discussed various psychological changes that a child goes through from being an infant till the age of 8 years including his/her development at those stages. Parents had the chance to speak to experts from different fields namely a child psychologist, financial planner, a celeb-mom and an RJ of the city, to ensure a 360 degree view of their respective behavioral issues and financial planning.

Raveena Tandon, a well known celebrity mom was a hit amongst the parents across 92.7 BIG FM’s Hindi Speaking Markets. A mom of two growing kids, Raveena Tandon was excited to be a part of this innovative campaign. She said, “Parenting comes with lots of responsibilities and challenges. Along with securing our child’s future financially, it is very important to make them learn to value the hard work we put in to earn something.”

Popular Telugu actress Shilpa Chakrabarty in Hyderabad, Sudharani in Bangalore, Tamil beauty and celeb-mom Sangeetha in Chennai and Meneka in Trivandrum also shared their knowledge and experiences on-air at 92.7 BIG FM’s respecxtive stations. The hour long show launched on 12th October and was on-air for 3 weeks on 92.7 BIG FM.
