Baseline Ventures, a leading sports marketing & brand licensing firm and promoters of The Music Run in India, is happy to announce Fastrack as the Presenting Sponsor of the first edition of The Music Run to be held in Bangalore on 10th September 2016. The Music Run is the fastest growing event in the mass running and entertainment space globally. This phenomenal 5 km music and fitness wave has been winning fans the world over, from Los Angeles to Bangkok and Singapore to Hamburg.

Fastrack, India’s iconic youth accessories brand, is partnering with The Music Run to engage with the youth through fitness, music and entertainment. Through this campaign, Fastrack aims to tap into the youth’s natural desire to create and share; thus being part of an experiential event. Fastrack speaks the language of the young millennials as its products denote energy, excitement and self-expression; which aligns well with the DNA of this event. The global popularity of The Music Run reinforces Fastrack’s vision and thoughts to the youth market; the run is all set to launch in India starting with Bangalore next month.

More like a party than a run, the runners will get to experience the world’s loudest 5 km running course, with more than 120 speakers pumping out the most popular songs voted by participants across five interactive and music-themed zones; namely Rock, Pop, Old School, Hip Hop and Dance. The Music Run is the only crowdsourced running event in the world. Participants control the soundtrack of the run by using the Music Voting App. They can vote for their favourite songs in the build up to the event and the songs with the most votes make the official run playlist. The runners are encouraged to go to the Bangalore event page on www.themusicrun.com/events/bengaluru to cast their vote.

This global event is already live in 25 cities having welcomed 100,000+ Music Runners, 70+ sponsors and 30+ live artist performances. The 5 km run will kick off with warm-ups and performances by popular artists, to culminate in a fun-filled after-run celebration with gigs from live bands and world class DJs, accompanied by dancers, laser lights, chill-out zones, LED screens, fireworks and exciting giveaways. The first event in India will take place at Clarks Exotica in Bangalore, on 10th September, 2016.
