The Express Adda returns to Mumbai

The Express Adda returned to Mumbai on Friday, September 2nd, 2016, with one of its very own, the irrepressible Karan Johar, who wears his many hats with ease - Actor, Producer, Director, Celebrity chat-show host or fashion maven.

Express Adda with Karan Johar, hosted at the Tote on the Turf in Mumbai, The evening saw a packed house, with the city’s "matteratti" including Bollywood actors, corporates, diplomats, activists, politicians and intellectuals among the audience.

During the discussion, Mr Johar spoke about his experiences on how Indian cinema has changed over the decades and also his views on the threat posed to cinema by digital content and entry of international studios in Bollywood in the recent times.

The talented film maker candidly engaged with the audiences, as he took questions ranging from his addiction to social media and his personal life.

The discussion was moderated by Anant Goenka, Executive Director, The Express Group and Shubra Gupta, Film Critic, The Indian Express.
