Sunil Mutreja, president, marketing, Amar Ujala, says, "There is a lack of good content in Hindi in the self help genre and whatever books are there are misleading. Through this approach, we aim to provide quality content to our readers. Through this venture we aim to do good to the society."
He adds that the books published by the group will try to be their "guide". The book division is working on its second offering - a science fiction in Hindi. All books launched by the group in future will have similar cover prices and initial print runs.
The group also plans to launch three magazines revolving around women, education and health.
For the record, at No. 3, Amar Ujala added around 3.95 lakh readers in the second round of IRS (R2, 2009), with its total readership now at 2.9 crore, reaching out to readers across UP, Uttranchal, Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.

From Pratap Ch Bhanja, Wed 31 Mar 2010 12:38:29 PM Good initiative. Wish this would pay good dividends. But, do remember the established brands like 'Grihshobha', 'Meri Saheli'..
