#fame emerges India’s No.1 LIVE video app within 2 months of launch

#fame, country’s premier digital entertainment network which launched India’s first LIVE VIDEO entertainment app in May this year, has seen stellar growth of the platform. Within 8 weeks of launch, the #fame app has captivated audience attention and emerged as the country’s fastest growing live video entertainment platform on the mobile. With over 4 lac downloads and 1 lac registered users, the app has seen live beams by over 12,000 unique performers spanning more than 22,000 live sessions and 2,500 hours of live content.

Available on iOS and Google Play, the #fame app is a mobile video platform where performers

can beam live to fans and audiences through their smartphones. Targeting the youth, the #fame app offers a diverse portfolio of live and video-on-demand (VoD) original digital content.

Soon after launch, #fame made a huge impact in entertainment by creating more than 200 hours of non-stop live programming from the prestigious IIFA Awards in Malaysia. Bollywood stars such as Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma, Farhan Akhtar, Sonakshi Sinha, Ayushman Khurana, Shradha Kapoor, Ritiesh Deshmukh, Jaqueline Fernandez, Malaika Arora Khan and Anupam Kher featured live on the app and fans from all over the World were able to interact directly with them.

From major entertainment events and launches to fashion and comedy vlogs, from cool reviews to live selfie interviews with top stars such as the cast of recent movies Masaan, Guddu Rangeela, Bangistan and Drishyam, the #fame app straddles a wide portfolio of genres including comedy,

entertainment, live events, fashion, music, tech, food, citizen journalism and more. Further, features such as social sharing, live chat, liking and fan-based communities have been integrated into the app’s user experience to help grow engagement between performers and audiences on the platform.
