Comic Con India is all set to host its 5th annual edition of Delhi Comic Con Driven By ALTO K10 in December!!

Comic Con India is back with its 5th annual edition of Delhi Comic Con (DCC) driven by ALTO K10. Delhi Comic Con 2015 will be back in town after 22 months. DCC 2015 will take place on December 4th, 5th & 6th’ 2015 between 11 a.m. to 8 p.m at NSIC Grounds, Okhla.

The show will feature over a 250 exhibitors, including artists, writers & creators from across India and abroad. Spread over 100,000 sq feet, Delhi Comic Con 2015 will be featuring the best and the brightest from the Pop-Culture universe in India & the world including Experiential Zones, the coolest Merchandise & Comics along with an awesome line up of Indian & International guests.

Kristian Nairn, Actor, HBO’s hit series Game of Thrones will be attending, taking special sessions, signing posters and speaking to fans at Delhi Comic Con 2015 in December! This is for the first time that Comic Con India is bringing in an International Actor as a Special Guest to Delhi. Kristian is a Northern Irish actor and DJ. He is best known for his portrayal of Hodor in the HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones, where he initially appeared as a guest star in the first season and returned in this role for the second, third and fourth seasons.

On attending Delhi Comic Con 2015, Kristian Nairn quotes, “ I am really excited and looking forward to attend Indian Comic Con in Delhi. I can’t wait to meet all the fans of Game of Thrones, will see you all soon in December!"

Famous international personalities and Comic Book guests like Rob Denbleyker, Author of Cyanide and Happiness; Ty Templeton, Canadian Comic Book Artist & writer and Dinesh Shamdasani, CEO, Valiant Entertainment will be attending and taking special sessions at DCC 2015.

For Delhi Comic Con 2015 tickets will be available online via Book My Show as well as at the venue. The tickets would be priced at Rs. 350 Single day and Rs.650 for the Super Fan Pass which allows entry on all 3 days. Only a limited number of Super Fan VIP tickets will be issued. Super Fan ticket can be booked online only, these will not be available at the venue.

This year, Comic Con India has launched a new ticketing category called Buddy Pass. It’s especially designed for gangs/groups coming to comic con with their friends. 5 Friends who book the buddy pass get access to the show with exclusive (limited edition) set of 5 wristbands created only for this year’s event. Gangs can buy Buddy Pass for Rs 1750.

Cosplay (Costume Contest), one of the major attractions at Comic Con India, will continue to give assured prizes to people in great costumes. Comic Con India under its 5 categories -1. Comic book/graphic novel 2. Animated Series/Movie 3. Manga/Anime 4. Sci-Fi/Fantasy and 5. Gaming will choose one winner in each category each day. Also on all three days, One lucky winner out of the chosen 5 will get an awesome chance to win A GOLDEN TICKET TO BEIJING COMIC CON! & a chance to enter in Indian Cosplay Championship!

Comic Con India brings a special treat for all the tech and gaming enthusiasts in Delhi this year! There will be exclusive Nodwin Gaming Zone at the event, which will be streaming the show live, to the audiences at home, along with a slew of gaming activities. Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Experience Zone will also have an awesome experiential zone for fans, with art installations and gaming.

Fans will find a dedicated“Artist Alley” at DCC 2015 like last year. It is a zone, exclusively featuring artists from all over India. It will give fans an opportunity to interact with awesome artists, illustrators, designers working for comics and related fields. The alley will feature artists like Nikhil Das Gupta, Abhijeet Kini, Saumin Suresh Patel, Reshmi Chandrashekhar, Raviraj Naik, Parth Kothekar, Marcus Santiago, Rohit Soni, Leena swamy and many more.

For the sheer love for Comics, around 12 new titles will get launched at the convention. There will be International Exhibitors like Marvel Comics by Hachette India, DC, Dark Horse & Vertigo Comics by Random House India. Also, there will be some Awesome Anime & Manga Merch from Japanese Merchandiser IINE Toys, along with the best and most exclusive International merchandise at the convention from across the globe.
