CREATIVE INC. WINS THE EVENT MANAGEMENT & FILM MANDATE FOR THE KANDLA PORT TRUST PAVILION AT MARITIME INDIA SUMMIT 2016

Maritime India Summit, the flagship confluence of the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India is a unique global platform for investors to explore potential business opportunities in the Indian Maritime Sector. Kandla Port Trust, the custodians of the prestigious Kandla Port invited for tenders from top agencies to design and execute a theme pavilion for the exhibition along with the creation of a 5-6 minute audio visual film. The theme for the pavilion was decided to be ‘100 MMTPA Cargo Handled Kandla Celebrates’, an achievement the port has in its kitty. Kandla Port is the only government port and also the youngest in India to have achieved this mammoth accomplishment. To showcase this through a thematic pavilion, a multiple agency pitch was called wherein five top event agencies participated. CREATIVE INC. won it on account of its fresh and innovative approach.

CREATIVE INC. was awarded the project to conceptualise and give a thematic expression to the prestigious pavilion highlighting the port’s unique USPs and potential, and also create an impressive 5-6 minute

audio visual film. “An in depth study of the sector was carried out that enabled us to give innovative ideas and showcase the theme effectively.

The maritime sector is unique and hence the organizations have their own communication objectives. The designed pavilion was an impactful brand platform – one that spoke to the industry and customers effectively,” added Charu Nathan, the Founder & Creative Director of the agency.
