Company Brief

National, November 23, 2016

Buying a home is a lifetime event. The moment of moving into a home is celebrated and the outcome is joyous. However the process of buying a home is often tedious, time consuming, at times a bit nerve wracking. Does this need to be so? Do we need to ‘ensure hardship’ in the buying process as to enjoy the fruits of the buying process? Or, can we reimagine a property search experience that’s joyful and that elevates the experience.

Magicbricks today offered consumers the first-of-its kind Real Estate Experiential Centre in Mumbai. Equipped with state of the art technology & power of unmatched content, the initiative aims to change the way they have been traditionally going about property search.

The Experience Center is a unique & beautiful amalgamation of the online & offline worlds thereby bridging an important gap that existed between a buyer & a seller.Using technologies like Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, on-demand Video-call and large format touchscreens, the brand has created a compelling proposition to address the myriad questions that plague a buyer during him home buying journey. The centre has 6 distinct components which allow a buyer to perform a wide range of tasks ranging from browsing property listings, to using various financial calculators, to property comparisons, virtually speaking to a (magicbricks) advisor, immersive walkthroughs, and touchscreen based map searches.

This centre is located at concourse 3 at the recently inaugurated Magicbricks Western Express Highway Metro station at Andheri. Inaugurating the launch, Mr. Sudhir Pai, CEO, Magicbricks.com, said “The experience centre is a coming together of high quality hardware and software that addresses very specific ‘issues’ in the consumers property journey. We imagine that centre would enhance the home buying process to a different level. This experience centre celebrates our strengths in applying technology to solve real problems in a meaningful, scalable manner”

Elaborating further, Mr. Sudhir Pai said, “We’ve absolutely delighted by the early feedback we’ve received from consumers, and from developers, who have visited our Experience Centre. This is a validation that combining Online, with a tech-driven offline presence would significantly enhance the value that we deliver. We aren’t happy with merely being India’s leading property portal, we want to be India’s most loved property portal as well”.
