With the objective of recognizing and rewarding best of the photography talent, Saral Jeevan, the 1st infotainment channel in Kannada, has announces the Photography Awards 2017. Any photography enthusiast can participate by sending their entries under any of the 4 categories: Wildlife & Nature, People, Travel and Mobile Phone Category. While the first 3 are professional categories for serious enthusiasts who has passion for travel and wild life photography, the last category is an innovation keeping the youth in mind; and the influence of smart phones in modern life.

The top 100 shortlists will be showcased for the public in 3 day photography exhibition at renowned arts and culture destination of Bangalore, the Karnataka Chitrakala Parishat. Entries to Photography awards can be sent till 5th of July. Award ceremony and exhibition are slated for mid of July. Saral Jeevan telecasts non-fiction programming with a focus on mythology, history, travel and insights from Indian heritage & culture.
