FTI Consulting Appoints Veteran Technology Advisor to Strategic Communications Segment in India

FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced the appointment of Valsa Williams as a Senior Advisor for Public Affairs in the Strategic Communications segment in India, based in Delhi. Ms. Williams brings more than 35 years of experience in public policy, government affairs and government projects in the technology sector. She will work with the Public Affairs team within the Strategic Communications segment to advise clients on public policy matters in the South Asia region.

A veteran technology policy consultant, Valsa previously led the Government Affairs and Public Policy function for Intel in South Asia, specifically in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Paul Downie, Chairman of Asia Pacific for the Strategic Communications segment at FTI Consulting, said, “We are excited to have Valsa join our Delhi Public Affairs team. She brings senior counsel on critical technology-related issues, and our global and South Asian clients will benefit immensely from her advice. Valsa will play a key role in enhancing our advisory capabilities in the fast-growing South Asia market.”

FTI Consulting also expanded its Public Affairs team in Mumbai, appointing Huda Inamdar as a Director in the Strategic Communications segment. Ms. Inamdar brings almost a decade of experience, combining corporate communications, public affairs, financial communications and financial advisory(taxation) services. She returns to the Company after studying for a masters’ degree in Global and Comparative Politics from the University of Essex, United Kingdom.
