The Indian Army welcomed India’s first Para Motor Expedition from Kashmir to Kanyakumari (K2K) undertaken by the Indian Army Parachute Regiment in Bangalore with a spectacular Air Show. The magnificent Air Show presented a mélange of impressive airborne operations including Fly past, Slithering from Helicopter, STIE, Motorcycle Display, Micro Light Flying, Powered Hand-gliding, Para Motor Display, Sky diving, Para trooping, Para-gliding, and Para dropping among other equally notable aerial illustrations
The K2K expedition, jointly sponsored by Candyman, the confectionery brand from ITC Ltd – Foods Division’s stable, started off on October 21, 2005, from Jammu and will cover about 4,000 kilometers across India by 10th of December. After harbouring at Pathankot, Jalandhar, Chandigarh, Meerut, Agra, Kampte and Secunderabad the Para Motoring expedition arrived at Bangalore on 1st December and will take-off for the onward journey towards south. The next take off would cover bases like Salem, Madurai, and Kanyakumari.
In addition to the general public, the school children were provided an opportunity by Candyman to witness this marvelous Air show.
