The D&AD Awards 2010 has officially called for entries, with its 'Jury Foremen' going online. The awards recognise the best work in advertising and design from around the world, with their Yellow and Black Pencils. Juries will be announced from early November.
"It's always difficult to choose a Pencil. It's equally difficult choosing the Foremen. But we've done it," says Paul Brazier, president, D&AD, in an official communiqué. "These foremen are very qualified to do this job, being specialists in their chosen field and will be tough enough to make sure that the work gets judged with utmost integrity."

Brazier adds, "Sometimes, it's easy for judges to be conservative and not give an award. It's often braver to stick your neck out and reward something challenging, fresh or new. These Foremen are the very first steps to shaping the 2010 awards."
Eligible entries will be accepted till January 27, 2010. Furthermore, work entered before November 18, 2009 will receive a 10 per cent discount. Judging shall take place from April 19-22, 2010 in London, while the winners will be announced in the month of June.
