Atulit Saxena joins Euro RSCG as Delhi head

Saxena comes in the place of Anisha Motwani, who is joining the marketing department of General Motors at a senior post

Atulit Saxena, the former senior vice-president and general manager with Bates, Delhi, has taken over as the Delhi head of Euro RSCG.

Saxena comes in the place of Anisha Motwani, who is joining the marketing department of General Motors at a senior post. She is likely to join General Motors sometime in February.

Confirming the development, Suman Srivastava, president, Euro RSCG, says, “We are very pleased to welcome Atulit to Euro. He joins us at a very exciting time. We have some great clients in Delhi and the office is poised to continue its fast growth, both in terms of creative product and new business. The team and clients will benefit from the rich experience he brings.”

Saxena, who is looking forward to his appointment, talks about his mandate. “My task is to improve Delhi office's creative reputation and grow the revenues. I am glad that the agency and I believe that the way to grow is to focus on organic growth, which, of course, results from building brands for clients.”

The size of the Delhi office in terms of annualised billings is Rs 30-40 crore. The objective is clearly to grow that figure manifold. The clients at Delhi office include Reckitt Benckiser, Dabur, Voltas, Radico Khaitan, Oriental Insurance Company, Chattisgarh Tourism, Lacoste and Arcus among others.

Before joining Euro RSCG, Saxena had a near four-year stint at Bates. Saxena had joined the agency as vice-president and Delhi head, when his predecessor Shovon Chowdhury quit to set up Street Life. And prior to Bates, Atulit was with Mudra for 13 years.

Some of the brands Saxena has worked during his 17 odd years in the industry are Dabur, Reckitt (in the Reckitt and Colman days), Samsung, Indian Airlines, Nestle, Frito Lay, Honda gensets, HCL and Jagatjit Industries.
