The size of the business is estimated to be in the region of Rs 4-5 crore

The Delhi office of Bates India has won the creative duties for Sony's car audio business in a three-way pitch. The agencies in the fray were O&M, Triton Communications and of course, Bates.

Bates was awarded the account on the back of a creative-cum-strategy pitch. The media business continues to be with Starcom.

The size of the business is estimated to be in the region of Rs 4-5 crore. The objective of the agency is to promote the car audio system and generate awareness.

Subhash Kamath, CEO, Bates India, says, “Sony is a powerful brand and the car audio category has a tremendous potential for growth. So, from the sheer strategy and creative perspective, to have such an account in one's portfolio is a great opportunity to produce path-breaking work.” © 2005 agencyfaqs!
