As general manager – north, The Asian Age, Ghosal was responsible for heading the northern region, including Delhi
Amrit Ghosal, formerly general manager – north, The Asian Age, has joined ZEE group's Jagran channel as AVP. He will be responsible for the national ad sales of the channel.
ZEE Jagran is a socio-spiritual-cum-entertainment channel. He took charge of his new responsibilities last week.
Ghosal has had a 10 year-stint in the media industry; out of this, he spent
five years with The Asian Age. At the publication, he was responsible for heading the northern region, including Delhi.
Prior to this, he had worked for The Indian Express as the head of ad sales involving the government ministries for three years.
He was also worked for the India Today Group in 1993 as a sales manager. He was involved with the launch of the India Today 's first group directory. Ghosal had also worked with Onida for a short span.
