Meanwhile, Ranganathan Thota, vice-president, HT Mumbai, will move to Delhi as head of new print initiatives
Sandip Ghosh, vice president, media marketing, Hindustan Times, has relocated to Mumbai as head of HT’s west and south Indian operations. He has been redesignated as vice-president and business head, west and south.
Ghosh, a qualified chartered accountant who quit the ABP Group in December last year, was brought in to play a key role in HT’s Mumbai launch. He started his career in 1983 with Hindustan Lever and spent around 19 years in that company.
In 2002, he moved to ABP as vice-president. Meanwhile, Ranganathan Thota, vice-president, HT Mumbai, will move to Delhi as the head of new print initiatives.
Rajiv Verma, CEO, HT, says, “Ranganathan has been instrumental in the successful launch of the Mumbai edition and we are going to use his expertise in new ventures. Ghosh’s experience will be used to consolidate our position in Mumbai.”
Hindustan Times has decided to accelerate its investment plans in the print business.
