Mona Jain to join ZenithOptimedia

Mona Jain has quit Cheil Communications to join ZenithOptimedia

Mona Jain, vice-president, Cheil Communications, has put in her papers. She will now join ZenithOptimedia as executive vice-president, media buying and diversified services.

Confirming this development to agencyfaqs!, Jain says, “My job profile in ZenithOptimedia is hugely challenging, specially because here, the treatment of brands will not be restricted to a linear vision only, but will also require a 360-degree approach.”

Jain will be involved also in collaborating across media. This will include online media and outdoor media, wherein ZenithOptimedia will provide an entire range of cost-effective services. Other than looking after buying for the traditional print and electronic media, Jain will be responsible as well for providing a platform for establishing diversified services like OOH, sports and IP/entertainment.

Commenting on Jain’s appointment, Ambika Srivastava, CEO, ZenithOptimedia says, “We are sure that Jain will add significant value to our clients. She is excellent in striking a balance between the evolving media environment and rising media costs, and both of them are extremely important in today’s scenario.”

Jain, who has been a part of the industry for the last 15 years, began her career with HTA in 1989. She moved to Cheil Communications after having worked with agencies such as JWT, Mudra and Lodestar Media,
