Indian advertising is all set to rock at AdAsia 2005

India gears to participate in AdAsia 2005 which is going to be held in Singapore

AdAsia, a biennial event for the advertising, media and marketing fraternity will be held at the Suntec City, Singapore. The four-day event will kick-off on November 20 and end on November 23, 2005.

AdAsia is the largest advertising, marketing and media event of its kind. It provides a wonderful opportunity to interact with top notch professionals from all over Asia as well as the chance to listen to reputed speakers.

The Advertising Club Bombay, which recently completed 50 years of its existence has been over the years mobilising delegations to the AdAsia event. The Ad Club also played the role of the secretariat to the highly successful and talked about AdAsia 2003 held at Jaipur.

Bipin Pandit, general manager, Ad Club, says, “This year, there are a record number of delegates, who will attend the AdAsia at Singapore. The number is likely to touch 140. The previous highest being 108 held at AdAsia Bali, which was a few years back.”

Among others sending delegates to the event include Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd., ABP Pvt. Ltd., Madison Communications, NDTV Media Limited, Rosary BBDO, Rajasthan Patrika, Reliance Industries Ltd, Set (India) Pvt Ltd, The Hindu, Tata Motors, Triton Communication, Ushodaya Enterprises, Zee Telefilms and Indian Express.

The constant efforts of the Advertising Club Bombay in the form of sending mailers, reminders, SMS blasts, and letters to download forms from the website, and helping Singapore to conduct a road show at Mumbai has resulted in the event getting such a huge response from India.

In fact, India will occupy the No.1 position in terms of the size of its delegation, leaving behind even Korea, which is the host for AdAsia – 2007.
