daCunha bags creative duties worth Rs 10-12 crore for BDA

BDA, the makers of Officer’s Choice Whisky, has moved its business from Enterprise Nexus

daCunha Communications has bagged the creative duties for BDA, the makers of Officer’s Choice whisky. The incumbent agency was Enterprise Nexus. The size of the entire advertising budget is pegged at Rs 10-12 crore. The media duties are looked after by MPG.

Confirming this development to agencyfaqs!, Poonam Chandel, general manager, marketing, BDA, says, “We were looking for an agency that would work exclusively for us and not for any other liquor brand. We have some senior management people on board who are well acquainted with the creative capacities of daCunha. So, we decided to award the business to them.”

The media mix for the campaign in the first phase will include print and outdoor. The television campaign will be launched next year. BDA’s brand portfolio includes Officer’s Choice Whisky, Officer’s Choice Rum and Class Vodka.

An enthused Rahul DaCunha, creative director, daCunha Communication, says, “Next year, BDA is planning to launch a whole host of new products and our primary objective will be to create clear visibility for them in this highly competitive market.”
