Bank of Baroda and Bank of India have already taken to this route and, now, following in their footsteps in reviewing its advertising duties is Union Bank of India
Following a multi-agency pitch, which was held last month, the bank has empanelled five agencies - Mudra, SSC&B Lintas, JWT, Image Ads and Pressman Advertising.
The account size is estimated to be around Rs 25 crore.
The bank had called for a pitch in April 2006 through a tender notice in leading newspapers.
No separate pitch was held for the media duties, which are to be handled by the media arms of the empanelled agencies.
