JWT does India proud at the Clio Awards 2006

Out of the ten Indian entries at the Clio Awards this year, only JWT has won two bronzes

The wait has ended for the four Indian agencies that were chosen as finalists at the Clio Awards 2006, held at Miami in the US. JWT, Mumbai, has won two bronzes for its Levi’s Slim Jeans Campaign in two categories.

JWT bagged the bronzes in the Print: Product Service category (titled Slim Figure #2) and the Television/Cinema: Craft category (titled Slim v/s Slim), both for Levi’s Slim Jeans.

The other Indian finalists at the Clio Awards 2006 were Saatchi & Saatchi, O&M, David and JWT, Chennai.

The names of the award winners in the Radio segment at the Clio Awards, in which David’s Nitco Tiles is a finalist, will be out in a day.

JWT’s Levi’s Slim Jeans campaign has won awards galore this year – five golds at the Goafest, two golds and three silvers at the Abby’s, three merit collections at the D&AD Annual, five bronzes at the Asian Advertising Awards and a bronze at the Ad Fest.

The agency’s Levi’s ad is already on its way to the Cannes Lions.
