PMAA Awards 2006: Indian agencies get 12 awards

At the PMAA Awards 2006, Solutions Integrated Marketing swept almost three awards and three finalist certificates, followed by Virtual Marketing which also won three awards

At the PMAA Awards 2006, Solutions Integrated Marketing Services won three awards and three finalist certificates, including the ‘Best In India Trophy’.

Solutions Integrated won a PMAA gold for ‘Murphy’s Law’ direct mailer campaign in the category – ‘Best Use of Direct Mail’, a silver for ‘Run 2 Win Campaign’ in the ‘Best Dealer or Sales Force’ category. Apart from these, it got a finalist certificate for ESPN School Learning Programme, ICICI Fiscal Nirvana and Philips Proactor, each.

The other Indian agency to have won at PMAA is Virtual Marketing, which won a gold in the ‘Best Small Budget Campaign’ category, silver in the ‘Best Activity Generating Brand Awareness & Trial Recruitment’ category and a silver and bronze in ‘The Best use of Interactive Media’ category.

Kidstuff Promos & Events won two bronzes in ‘The Best Sponsorship’ category or ‘Tie-in’ campaign and also in the ‘Best Cause’ or ‘Charity Marketing’ Category.

O&M also won a silver and a bronze in the ‘Best Activity Generating Brand Awareness & Trial Recruitment’ category. Also, Jagran Solutions got a silver in the ‘Best Cause’ or ‘Charity Marketing’ category.

Mike Da Silva, director PMAA 2006 and V-P MAA Globes said that this year has been the best one for India at the PMAA awards. He also said that some of these winning entries such as Murphy’s Law and Run 2 Win Campaigns, by Solutions Integrated Marketing Services, will now be sent to New York for the 2006 Marketing Agencies Association GLOBES Recognition Programme.

The winners will be announced at the MAA GLOBES Ceremony at the Hard Rock Hotel in Chicago on October 12.
