Role shift at SET India: Almeida and Rajani are business heads, SET and SET Max, respectively

The group sees the two effecting leadership roles in strengthening their respective brands

Albert Almeida, business & #BANNER1 & # head, SET Max, will take over as business head of the main channel of Sony Entertainment Television (SET) with immediate effect. Sneha Rajani, head, programming and acquisitions, SET Max, replaces him as business head, SET Max. Almeida and Rajani will report to NP Singh, COO, SET India.

Almeida has been with the SET main channel for over three years and has provided leadership as head of marketing there and as business head, SET Max. He can claim to have brought about effective and result oriented marketing and communication campaigns.

Rajani has been with the company for over seven years and has sizeably contributed in the area of programming, acquisitions and cricket. Rajani has played a pivotal role in effecting SET Max's status today as a leading channel.

Kunal Dasgupta, CEO, SET India, describes the in-house change in roles to be in line with the organisation's strategy to be a strong group of channels backed by competent professionals. The two announcements will ensure the requisite leadership towards this end.

NP Singh, COO, SET India, comments, "Both Almeida and Rajani have led the network's growth path and now with leadership roles at SET and Max, respectively, they will be able to further effect the growth of these brands. However, Almeida will continue to oversee the ICC Champions Trophy till the end of the tournament."
