Arjun Mukherjee, V-P, Rediff, Delhi, quits

At Rediffusion, Mukherjee’s mandate was to look after the non-Airtel businesses

Its official now; Arjun Mukherjee, V-P, Rediffusion DY&R, Delhi has put in his papers. Mukherjee had joined Rediffusion DY&R just two and a half months back. He had moved in from RK Swamy/BBDO, where he was general manager. 

In spite of repeated attempts to contact Mukherjee, he was not available for comment. 

However, Ramesh Srivats, executive vice-president, Rediffusion DY&R, Delhi has confirmed this development to agencyfaqs!. He says, “Mukherjee quit last week, and it was an amicable parting. As far as the reason for him putting in his papers is concerned, he had his personal reasons for doing so.” 

“We will be looking for a replacement for Mukherjee, but that will take a while,” adds Srivats. 

At Rediffusion, Mukherjee’s mandate was to look after the non-Airtel businesses and he was also responsible for bringing in new business for the agency. 

Mukherjee has an experience of 14 years in the advertising industry. Besides Rediffusion DY&R, Delhi he has worked with Grey Worldwide (then Trikaya Grey), Kolkata, Lowe (then Lintas), Kolkata, Triton Communications, Delhi, Publicis India, Delhi and RK Swamy/BBDO, Delhi.
