Global research firm Kadence starts operations in India

Kadence Research India will focus on undertaking qualitative and quantitative research for clients across sectors, as part of either a local or global campaign

After having established its network across Boston, London, Singapore and Sydney, global business research specialist, Kadence has launched its operations in India. Kadence Research India will be a full-service operation, complete with CATI station, based in New Delhi.

Kadence Research India will focus on undertaking qualitative and quantitative research for clients who wish to gain an insight into hard-to-reach Indian business audiences across sectors, as part of either a local or global campaign. It will also cater to the growing demand for social research into the Indian population, which is currently being driven by the United Nations and several charitable organisations.

The Indian operations will have a senior team of three directors, headed by Aman Makkar, who will assume the role of managing director, Kadence Research India.  Makkar joins Kadence from Research Pacific and has nearly 20 years of experience in the research industry within the Indian market.

Makkar comments, “India is a rapidly growing market for research companies and Kadence will fill a vital niche by providing full-service and high quality insights into domestic Indian business audiences.”

“By combining knowledge and understanding of the local culture with the advanced technical support and international expertise offered by a global network, the team at Kadence Research India is well positioned to offer superior service to clients from day one,” he adds.

Simon Everard, CEO of Kadence International Business Research Group, goes on to comment that with a presence in India, Kadence can now offer clients around the world informed insights into the country’s rapidly expanding business sector. “This is a valuable service for clients wishing to research exclusively the Indian market, but also as an extension of our international services for clients who want regional insights in the context of a global campaign.”

Since it was founded in 1985, the aim of the Kadence International Business Research Group has been to provide clients with global coverage in all key business research markets. The group’s international expansion plans are set to continue with the launch of further offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai in 2007.
