Dish TV appoints Arun Kumar Kapoor CEO
The CEO’s post at Dish TV has been lying vacant since August 2006 which was when Sunil Khanna quit
Dish TV has appointed Arun Kumar Kapoor its chief executive officer. Kapoor will fill the post left vacant by Sunil Khanna, who quit Dish TV two months ago to join the ADAG Group.
Kapoor comes in from Hutchison Essar, South, where he was functioning as CEO for the Punjab circle. He will take charge from November 1, 2006, and be based at the company’s headquarters in Noida, a Delhi suburb.
A management graduate from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute, Mumbai, Kapoor has close to 23 years’ experience in various spheres of business. He has been instrumental in setting up and managing operations for the Bharti Group/ Spice Cell and lately for Hutch for the Punjab circle.
