Percept H, Carat India bag Electrolux account

Electrolux has appointed Percept H as its creative agency and Carat Media Services as its media agency. The incumbent creative and media agencies for the business were Mudra and OMS, respectively. The estimated size of the advertising spend is said to be more than Rs 18 crore.

Says Anirudh Dhoot, managing director, Electrolux, “Percept H and Carat are efficient agencies and also among the big creative and media planning hot-shops. Electrolux will benefit from their unique brand strategies for its overall development.”

Madhav Nene, deputy general manager, marketing, Electrolux, says, “Both the agencies, Percept H and Carat, were able to devise fruitful marketing strategies that really fell in line with our expected outcome.”

Electrolux will be making its brand building and enhancement plans based on its new philosophy, ‘Thinking of You’, which will portray the company to its customers as actually bearing out its claims.

For the record, Electrolux sells more than 40 million products to customers in 150 countries every year. Electrolux products include refrigerators, dishwashers, washing machines, vacuum cleaners and cookers. The Electrolux Group is among the leading white goods producers in Australia and has substantial market shares in this product category in Brazil and India. It also has a significant market presence in China.
