Rajesh Mathew joins Wunderman, Chennai, as general manager

Mathew's mandate here will be to add value to the existing clients of the agency. He will report directly to Kaushik Tiwari, vice-president, South, Rediffusion DY&R


Mathew, who till recently was working with an agency, Concept, in Muscat has shifted his base back to India. He has now joined Wunderman, Chennai as the general manager.

Besides heading the Wunderman team in Chennai, Mathew will also overlook the operations of Rediffusion DY&R, Chennai. He will report to Kaushik Tiwari, vice-president, South, Rediffusion DY&R.

His reason for coming back to India to join Wunderman is believed to be his never dying passion for direct marketing. In all, he has over 12 years of experience in advertising. He started his career with MAA Bozell, Bangalore, and later moved on to work with Saatchi & Saatchi Direct. The other agencies he has worked with are O&M, Bangalore, and Lowe, Chennai.

Kaushik TiwariHe remembers working on the glass brand, Saint-Gobain, with Lowe, as one of his most memorable projects. Some of the other brands he has worked on during his career span include SSD Sunflower Oil, Wipro, Hewlett-Packard, Infosys, Green Label and Grundfos.
