STAR Plus's magnum & #BANNER1 & # opus 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' is back and this time with a huge surprise. STAR has roped in Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan to host the show.
This time round, the channel aims to reach out to the significant part of India which falls below the age of 35 years. 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 3' promises to be in the 'Gen Next' avatar.
About part three of the show - which almost reformed television viewing in India - Sameer Nair, CEO, STAR India, says, "Kaun Banega Crorepati has been the driving force behind the success of our channel over the last six years. In its new form, the show will deliver to viewers a whole new entertainment experience."
'Kaun Banega Crorepati' is produced by Siddhartha Basu's Synergy Communications. About the third season, Basu says, "Despite the long association with KBC, it seems like a new beginning. KBC with Shah Rukh Khan will bring a whole new set of audience to STAR Plus."
STAR India has signed a five-year contract with Celador for 'Kaun Banega Crorepati'. The deal incorporates both the format and programme licence.
