Motivator drives home with Skoda

The estimated size of the business is Rs 15 crore

Following a multi agency pitch, Motivator has bagged the media duties for automobile major Skoda. A few months ago, agencyfaqs! had reported that the creative and media duties of Skoda were under review. It is learnt that besides a few other agencies, MPG was also in the fray for this business. The creative duties for same was awarded to Law & Kenneth a couple of months ago.

This development has been confirmed to agencyfaqs! by Rajul Kulshreshtha, managing director, Motivator. However, executives at Skoda were not available for comment.

The estimated size of the business is Rs 15 crore. agencyfaqs! has also learnt that the auto major plans to spend 75 per cent of its media budget on print, with the rest being distributed among other media such as outdoor and television.

In India, Skoda Auto has four brands in its portfolio – Octavia, Octavia Combi, Laura and Superb. It is part of the international Volkswagen Group, with its global headquarters in Czech Republic.

Motivator has won quite a few new businesses in the last few months. These include media brand Nai Dunia, financial brands Union Bank of India and Barclays Bank, and jewellery brand Tribhuvandas Bhimji Zaveri Jewellers.
