Harish Arora named branch head for Dentsu Communications

Arora has 17 years of experience in the field of sales and advertising. Some of the brands he has worked on during his career span are Dabur, Red & White, National, Maxima watches, Rotomac pens, HDFC Standard Life, Tata Tea and Paan Parag

Dentsu Marcom's executive creative director, Harish Arora, has been made the branch head for Dentsu Communications, Delhi. He will perform the role of vice-president and executive creative director for the agency and will report to Ruchira Raina, executive director, Dentsu Communications. His mandate will be to boost the operations of the branch and look after its entire working, encompassing both the functional and creative aspects.

Arora has 17 years of experience in the field of sales and advertising. After graduation, he spent two years in sales with the DCM Group. Then he obtained a post-graduate diploma in journalism from YMCA and spent one year working as a freelance journalist for All India Radio.

He has been associated with advertising for the last 15 years now. He started his career with an agency called FS Advertising before he moved to Everest Brand Solutions. In his 11 years there, he worked on brands such as Dabur, Red & White, National, Maxima watches and Rotomac pens.

He has been working with Dentsu for the last three-and-a-half years. His forte is Hindi copywriting and he was instrumental in creating the HDFC Standard Life 'Sar utha ke jiyo' campaign. He has also worked on Tata Tea and Paan Parag.
