Saumya Chattopadhyay joins Vyas Giannetti Creative as director, strategic planning

Vyas Giannetti Creative (VGC) has appointed Saumya Chattopadhyay as director, strategic planning. He moves from Southseas Film TV School and Productions, Auckland, New Zealand, where he was the international marketing manager for Asia. He will report to Atul Hegde, chief operating officer, VGC.

Chattopadhyay has close to 12 years of experience in the field of advertising and marketing. He is a graduate from IAA (International Advertising Association) school of advertising at Watford School of business UK. In India, he has stints in account planning with agencies such as EuroRSCG, Mumbai and O&M Mumbai. Later on he was also associated with Saatchi & Saatchi, London for a brief period before joining marketing with Southseas Film TV School and Productions.

Some of the categories of brands he has handled during his career span include Sandoz, Voltas, Sony Television, HDFC Bank, Lakme, Ponds, Aviance and Kissan.

Remarks Chattopadhyay, “This is a kind of a home for me. VGC is known for its creative excellence. When creativity is coupled with a dimension of strategic planning, it will bring a great value addition for the agency’s over all business.”
