Bhaskar launches 'Script It' contest

The winner, to be announced by June end, will walk away with Rs 1 lakh. The winning TV script may find itself being converted into a TVC and being telecast

The Bhaskar Group has launched ‘Script It’, a contest which calls for TVC scripts on the subject, ‘The Impact of Newspapers in Our Lives – The Power of Print’. Any agency, media, creative, freelancers or even media planners can enter this contest with a good idea well told.

Sanjeev Kotnala, national head, communications, Bhaskar Group, says, “Newspapers impact our days. Being the most penetrative media today, newspapers bring us the news with analysis to make things clearer. What we are looking for is an out of the box perspective for the category that may or may not be brand specific in nature.”

The winning TV script may find itself being converted into a TVC and being telecast. It provides a great opportunity for those who are passionate about the power of print. Also, the winner will walk away with Rs 1 lakh. The winner will be announced by the end of June.

The Bhaskar Group is the largest read newspaper group in India, with its flagship Hindi daily newspaper, ‘Dainik Bhaskar’, and the Gujarati newspaper, ‘Divya Bhaskar’, collectively covering nine states with 37 editions catering to more than 2.67 crore readers.

The last date for entering the contest is June 11.
