The Media & #BANNER1 & # Research Users Council (MRUC) has formed a new committee that will look into magazine-specific research. This committee will run independent of the IRS.
Sources within MRUC reveal that the new committee will concentrate on the quantitative realm of the magazine industry. The qualitative parameters will be finalised in two-three months after research is conducted on the magazine material available in international markets.
The technical committee - which comprises senior professionals with marketing and media planning expertise - ascertains the frequency and requirements for research through meetings with varied sections of users among media, media agencies and advertisers for feedback and necessary action.
