Prashant Panday climbs ladder at ENIL

Prashant Panday has been with Radio Mirchi from its inception. He has been involved in the successful roll out of phase II of the company’s radio stations

Prashant Panday, deputy CEO at Radio Mirchi, has been promoted as chief executive officer, ENIL (Radio Mirchi), taking over from AP Parigi, who continues to be the managing director of the group while taking on a new role as mentor of the group’s Internet division, Times Internet Limited (TIL).

Prashant Panday has been with Radio Mirchi right from its inception. He has been involved in the successful roll out of phase II of the company’s radio stations.

Panday’s elevation can be linked to Parigi’s additional role as the mentor at TIL (apart from his existing responsibilities as MD of the group).

AP Parigi, managing director, ENIL (Radio Mirchi), says, “Prashant is one of Radio Mirchi’s most talented and experienced managers. He has consistently displayed leadership qualities. He has an in-depth understanding of the media space, particularly the FM radio space. Prashant is bound to take Radio Mirchi to even greater heights.”

Adds Prashant Panday, the new CEO of ENIL, “My goal is to make Radio Mirchi a household brand name across the length and breadth of India.”

Prashant holds a Bachelor’s degree in electronics and communications engineering from Gujarat University and a post-graduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. Prior to joining Radio Mirchi, he was director (marketing) for Modi Revlon Limited’s India operations. He has also worked with Hindustan Lever Limited, Frito Lay India, Mudra Communications and Citibank NA. He has 17 years’ experience in the sales, marketing and advertising industries and has also held other senior positions.
