INX Network selects Ideal Systems for systems design

INX Network

has signed up the systems design and integration house, Ideal Systems, to provide systems design and integration services for its news channel, NewsX.

Vynsley Fernandes, group director, network operations, INX Network, says, "We are planning very high broadcasting standards. Ideal Systems was the only company in the Asia-Pacific region that could meet the standards of providing systems design and integration support to the news team." He adds that Ideal Systems' expertise will ensure that the highest level of production is delivered through good quality broadcast that will set its own standards, provide the best viewing experience to viewers and value to all INX's business associates.

Ideal Broadcasting India (IBI) is the India arm of the global Ideal Systems, a premier systems design and integration house, specialising in both satellite and terrestrial broadcasting in the Asia-Pacific region. Amongst others, IBI has worked with Zee TV (playout and automation), Times Now, India TV (news and PCR) Sahara Network (playout and PCR), CNBC (automation), Tata Sky DTH (facility) and Infosys (multi-media centre). It has also provided services and supplies to broadcasters such as NDTV, Sun Network, Asianet and Doordarshan.

For the record, INX Media is the owner of 9X, the general entertainment Hindi channel, and 9XM, the youth music channel. INX News is the owner of NewsX, which is intended to be a premium English news channel.
