Sanjay Menon joins Mudra Ahmedabad as ECD

Menon spent about 12 years with Grey Worldwide

Sanjay & #BANNER1 & # Menon, who quit Grey Bangalore in February after serving the agency for 12 years, has moved to Mudra Ahmedabad as executive director. At Grey Bangalore, Menon was branch head and regional creative director, South.

Menon is a graduate from the JJ School of Arts, Mumbai. He has an experience of 15 years in advertising. He started his career with Lowe (then Lintas), Mumbai, in 1991. After three years he moved to the agency's Kolkata branch. He worked there for a year and joined Grey Worldwide as associate creative director. Apart from Kolkata, he has worked with Grey's offices in New Delhi and Bangalore.

He has worked on a variety of categories such as FMCG, consumer durables, hospitality, manufacturing and engineering, cosmetics, banking, fashion, apparel and IT. Some of the brands he handled during this period include Bajaj Auto, Siemens, Castrol, Kamasutra condoms, ITC Cigarettes, Indian Airlines, Glaxo Smithkline Healthcare, Oracle, BJP, Apollo Tyres and Madura Garments.

On the appointment, Bobby Pawar, national creative director, says, "We have been strengthening our creative team across the country, with the appointment of lots of quality senior creative people. Sanjay (Menon) will add depth to our team, leading one of our flagship offices in Ahemdabad. Mudra Ahmedabad has produced some excellent work for clients such as Rasna, Vimal, Dhara and Paras.
