Stark Communications, Cochin, has bagged the creative duties for premium men's wear brand, Classic Polo. The estimated size of the business is in the region of Rs 6-7 crore. The incumbent agency was Percept H, Bangalore. However there is no change in terms of media duties, and it continues to be with Initiative.

Classic Polo is owned by the Royal Classic Group. Its product range includes T-shirts, shirts, jackets, sweaters, and trousers. The media mix for the business will include television, press and outdoor.

Nandagopal Nair, branch manager, Stark Communications, Cochin, says, "Stark has expertise in the fashion domain. We already handle two significant retail fashion brands in Kerala such as Jayalakshmi Silks and Bhima Jewellery. This experience helped us understand the category better and thus provide suitable creatives and strategy for Classic Polo."

In another development, Stark Communications will also be promoting the Coconut Development Board (CDB) and Double Horse range of food products.

Stark is among the five empanelled agencies for CDB. Other four agencies include Magnum, Madras Advertising, Jellitta Publicity and MAA Bozell.
