Prior to joining the Bhaskar Group, Rakesh Dewan has worked with ‘Reader’s Digest’ where he was DGM, North and East. He has also worked with Getit Infomediary for five years as regional manager.

With his competency in concept selling and business development skills, he hopes to add momentum to the fast pace of growth at the Delhi branch. He says, “It is very exciting to be a part of the media industry where there is action every moment. More exciting is to be part of an aggressive group like Bhaskar.”

Also, Bisakha Sen has joined the Bhaskar Group as general manager for ‘Divya Bhaskar’, Delhi. She started her career with UDI Yellow Pages and then moved over to ‘Anand Bazaar Patrika’. She has worked with the Chitralekha Group and Sandesh Limited, where she was heading Delhi and North for the last six years.

Says Bisakha Sen, “I am well versed with the Gujarat market and I plan to use this experience to contribute positively to ‘Divya Bhaskar’ and set new standards.”

Says Aditya Amar, senior general manager, ‘Dainik Bhaskar’, North and East, “The two appointments can help the team and branch in better understanding the market and developing regular and non regular categories.”

Bhaskar group is the largest read newspaper group of India. Its flagship Hindi daily newspaper, ‘Dainik Bhaskar’, and the Gujarati newspaper, ‘Divya Bhaskar’, collectively cover nine states with 37 editions catering to more than 2.67 crore readers.
