Ex-Leo Burnett Mumbai head joins European digital agency

LBI is a full service and fully integrated digital agency network in Europe, which offers its clients marketing and technology solutions

Srikanth Sarathy, the former Leo Burnett Mumbai branch head, who resigned three months ago, is joining LBI, a European full service and fully integrated digital agency network, which offers its clients marketing and technology solutions.

“I’ll be the country head as the company looks to expand its digital services to India,” said Sarathy when contacted by agencyfaqs!

LBI is a Europe based, fully integrated digital agency network. It was formed by the merger of LB Icon and Framfab on August 1, 2006. The company has big plans for India, which will be unveiled under Sarathy’s leadership. “As far as action in the digital space is concerned, India is there on the global map. LBI setting up an office in India is testimony to that,” said Sarathy.

With a combined force of more than 1,200 professionals in 26 offices across the world, annual sales of €161 million and a combined market capitalisation of €275-325 million, LBI has achieved the necessary critical mass to lead this business category. “We have technically started our India operations and we are open to business,” said Sarathy.

Sarathy has been with Leo Burnett ever since he started his career in 1995. In the past 12 years, he has performed many roles and worked at different offices, including New Delhi, London and Mumbai. His last function at the agency was as Mumbai branch head.
