B4U adds teeth with two new appointments

B4U Network has appointed two senior managers in India and the overseas market, thereby filling in key positions in the organisation as it continues to increase focus in both regions.

Alkesh Kanani will now be the business head of the India operations, a new position created for leading the future growth plans of the channel in the country. A veteran of the cable and satellite industry with wide experience, Kanani used to be in charge of business development for the world renowned audio engineering company, Dolby Laboratories Inc.

Recently, Sanjay Agarwal, who was senior vice-president, finance, at Zee Network, was appointed CFO for B4U Network globally; he will be based in the UK.

The experience and knowledge they possess will go a long way in achieving the goals B4U Network has set and also strengthen our position as the leading entertainment television network on the globe,” said Sunil Rohra, global CEO, B4U Network.

Meanwhile, the strategy to increase the channel’s market share and revenue has been given a boost with Bala Iyer, vice-president, Europe, now being given the additional responsibility of looking after sales in the UAE and the US.
