Kulvinder Ahluwalia back at Draft-FCB-Ulka

This is a homecoming of sorts for Ahluwalia as he started his career as a management trainee with Draft-FCB-Ulka

Kulvinder Ahluwalia has joined Draft-FCB-Ulka as head of key strategic businesses from the Tata Group. He joined the agency earlier this month. This is a homecoming of sorts for Ahluwalia as he started his career as a management trainee with Draft-FCB-Ulka.

During his seven year stint, Ahluwalia has serviced clients such as Tata Indica, Tata Indigo, Santoor, Coldarin, Tata Corporate and Wipro.

Says Ahluwalia, “I’m really excited about this opportunity to be back with my first love – advertising. As I have worked with the Tata Group extensively in my earlier stint, I look forward to rekindling the old relationship and using some of Draft-FCB-Ulka’s proprietary techniques in an attempt to continue creating insightful communication solutions for their business.”

After leaving Draft-FCB-Ulka, Ahluwalia worked for four years at Hennig, the London based diamond consulting firm for De Beers.

Chief operating officer Nitin Karkare says, “Kulvi is a product of our management training programme, Star One. And we are glad that he is back as GM. It’s a special feeling when our Star One trainees return. He will be heading some of our important businesses including the Tata Group.”

Ahluwalia obtained his MBA from the University of Mumbai in 1996. He is also a certified diamond grader from IGI.
