formally announced that Vir Sanghvi, chief executive officer, of the channel will be putting in his papers. The decision comes after the mutual consent of Vir Sanghvi and INX News. The professional working relationship between the two will be terminated with effect from January 29, 2008.
Vir Sanghvi remarks, "This announcement will now put the rumours, leaks and plants of the last fortnight behind us as we have separated in an atmosphere of goodwill and amicability."
Vir Sanghvi is former editor of Hindustan Times (HT). He served the organisation for many years as editor-in-chief, and later as editorial director. During this period the company launched several editions which includes the Kolkata, Chandigarh and Mumbai editions. HT revamped its design and page format during Sanghvi's tenure.
He is likely to continue his association with Hindustan Times as advisory editorial director with his columns in the Hindustan Times, Brunch and Mint. He is reputed as being one of the youngest editors in India and is also a television personality. During his career was consulting editor for Ananda Bazaar Patrika. He also edited Imprint and is co founder-editor for Bombay Magazine.
